Pathogen: Xanthomonas campestris

Field Symptoms: Small irregular water-soaked spots on the edge of the leaf margin. Spots are surrounded by a yellow halo. Leaf spots gradually moved on the inner surface of the leaf.

Management of Bacterial Leaf Spot:

• Implement proper drainage patterns.
• Weed control management.
• Remove and burn infected leaves.
• Practice crop rotation with crops of different families for example cucurbits.
